My Christmas Decorations

Like most of us, with very little time or money to spare at the moment, I am keeping christmas simple!
I made folded paper leaf decorations, simply hung on a thread, to decorate the fireplace.

Happy Birthday Bethan!

Christmas feeling

I tend to feel a little grinchy about how early shops start to stock mince pies and tinsel, But I have now officially begun my christmas mood by ordering some lovely decorative tape to wrap presents with.
I like to save money and make my own wrapping paper using some good old potato printing, but I couldn't resist these lovely little tapes, I'll just design the paper to go with them!
There are loads of other tapes aswell as many other lovely things to be found at www.nonesuchthings.com.

Twitter

As much as I wish I lived in a tree or even was a tree, I have joined twitter! I will attempt to join the modern world and tweet all things Freya Lines Designs. Come Find me @FreyaLines. x

My Little Desk

Sitting in the sun, fllicking through Elle Decoration May 2011 edition on my lunch break, I came across images of lovely desk spaces. I'm not sure how I manage to get work done on my tiny desk in the corner of my bedroom but I look forward to owning a big beautiful wooden desk one day...

Benjamin Buckley Prints

I know it's a bit cheesy, but I had to share the success of my beautiful and talented boyfriend Benjamin Buckley.
He is currently exhibiting limited edition Prints at The London Print Studios with 'The Contemporary London'.
I went to the private view on Tuesday night and could'nt have been more bold over by his works. Luckily for me it was my birthday the next day and he had printed the images on newsprint to use as wrapping paper! Although I'm a bit sad it got wrinkled and ripped, maybe I can iron it and glue it and stick it in a frame!

The works will be up well into July, I think all should have a visit!
